The Fallen Heroes pictured below represent the tragic human cost of the British Forces campaign in Afghanistan
since October 2001 and the conflict in Iraq since March 2003.
Servicemen from this area who have given their lives in active service in Afghanistan include:

Private Jonathan Kitulagoda, 23, from Clifton, who was killed on 28 January, 2004 in an apparent suicide bomb attack while serving at a military base in Kabul, with the Nato-led International Security Assistance Force.
